Summer Carnival

What is it about summers that makes me want to wade in a shallow pool, sip coolers on the portico and just soak in that certain summer fragrance in the air. That is just how I am. I romanticise summers on paper, think about it, smile to myself and then wham, the temperature shoots through the roof and I can't take it anymore. But before we reach that awful state of affairs in Delhi, lets loll around on the grass a little with the last batch of cool breezes and the sun shining at the same time. Besides if it ever came to it, I would pick summers over winters in a heartbeat.

I am an ardent lover of prints and when I chanced upon this cute bicycle print maxi dress at Global Desi, I knew I had to have it. Its the right amount of bohemian with just the most flattering neckline and slits at the bottom. Just to give a little more structure, I added a belt at the waist. Completed the look with embellished jutis( free bohemian spirit and all that) and a braid with a twist. Summer also calls for simple, clever accessorising for the day. Skipped my necklace, earrings routine for my 'L.O.V.E' midi rings and some arm candy. This is how it looked.
