When a reader asked me to update her on all new and upcoming websites that are launched stocking interesting designer wear, I definitely had my heart set on taking this up seriously. When I heard of
Luxe Alley, my first instinct was obviously to check the website out and take a call on its user friendliness because I'm a firm believer that online shopping should be hassle free, transparent and pleasurable. A lot of the collections are still underway on their website but from a whirl of all thats available from the high end fashion bracket, I am duly impressed. This one's a must visit if you're planning to splurge on some of our indigenous fashion designers or even if you just want to drool. Here are my top 5 picks from the website and here's why:
Bolero with Textured Waist Pants: Threesome by Ankit, Kanika and Mehak. The colors and the flares are definitely the rage this season. So the solid combination is my pick. |
Black velvet Draped dress and cashmere toosh stripe shawl by Anju Modi.
I like the drape and the fact that its in velvet makes it an investment for this season! |
Valliyan by Nitya Arora. The acryclic and glass spiked feel is perfect for the indo-grudge look. |
Sleeveless digitally printed gown with lace by Anita Dongre. I can't say which is cuter, the digital print in pastels or the lace borders. Truly something for us girlie girls! |
Full Sleeved Ombre dyed dress by Anita Dongre. The Black and white with the royal Indian motifs at the hems make it my favourite piece. |
Give
Luxe Alley a whirl and tell me what you think? FTLOFAOT recommends, for sure. :)
