This collection from Forever New is for all you Gossip Girl fans out there. Yes, you heard it right, Studio 54 is inspired by the Upper East Side New York Girl meets the '70s. What do you get when you cross both those genres? Lots of luxurious animal prints, risqué split ruffled dresses, the dip-rise hems, cute shirt dresses, some Blair-esque pussy bow blouses, chunky knits in delish flavours and a sprinkle of the New York city charm to top it off.
If the apparel experiments with textures and cuts, the accessories go with classic pieces in tones of turquoise, amethyst, cobalt blue with a lot of golden accents. Long tassled necklaces and larger-than-life statement rings are here to stay, ladies.
The shoes see an array of heels from color-blocked ones to glitzy glittery ones. These are definite to complement the geometrically influenced box clutches that this collection showcases. All in all, liking how the color palette infuses prints into the most beautiful of colors families: blues, greens, blacks with tones of neutrals.
