CFDA Awards

The Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards or CFDA Awards as they are more popularly known were nothing short of a fashionista's dream come true. Lady GaGa receiving the Fashion Icon Award, Prabal Gurung winning the Swarovski Womenswear Designer of the Year and his very humble speech, Alexander Wang receiving Accessory Designer of the Year award..were some of my favourite moments.
This post was inevitable, given my love for going through a billion photographs of the who's who of the fashion industry and picking my favourite looks and scanning the recurring trends!

First off, my favourite looks:)

Yes, only GaGa could pull off a bright blue bob!

Mary Kate-Ashley Olsen in The Row, Row bags and Cartier jewels

Alexander Wang with Iris Apfel(The baubles and the yellow is HOT!)

Naomi Watts in Calvin Klein

Chanel Iman in BCBG Azria with Lubov Azria

Liv Tyler in Proenza Schouler(The eclectic print is so HER!)

The one and only-Anna Wintour from American Vogue

Ken Downing from Neiman Marcus with Bergdorf Goodman's Linda Fargo(The gorgeous coral Jil Sander)

 These are the highlights of all the looks spotted for the following reasons:

• The bright bursts of neon and corals refuse to leave. Who's complaining! :)
• The nude pumps(Louboutins specifically) are omnipresent! I spotted atleast 3-4 designers/models wearing them!
• The crazy ass structured bags on Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are beyond belief! I could not get my eyes off those babies!
